School Bus Media Mission Statement 2005
School Bus Media is an innovative
private/public partnership that delivers positive and
inspirational, age-appropriate controlled messages to students
while generating additional revenue for the School
District with no cost to the District.
School Bus Media, in conjunction
with the public school system, Government Task Forces, Federal
initiatives, not-for-profit organizations, private and corporate
sponsors, is poised to reduce and prevent obesity by directly
delivering messages to students that promote physical activity
and proper nutrition.
As a media partner, School
Bus Media is taking the lead in developing and communicating
the messages that will resonate with students and affect change
in their activity levels and eating habits.
SBM is providing an alternative
revenue stream in order to supplement the budget short falls of the school districts through the marketing of Bus-Cal to commercial sponsors that are fundamentally sound and who are currently providing a positive commercial image to Kindergarten through High School students. And to furnish two (2) informative
& socially conscious public service announcements per bus.
School Bus Media is an excellent
opportunity to deliver positive messages to students and generate
significant revenue for the School District with no cost to the
District.
